Fueled by a love of animals and a desire to be in control of my work-life, I started a dog walking and pet sitting company in 2003. By 2009, the business had grown to include a daycare and boarding facility. The opportunity for growth was evident, but the daily management of the dog walking tasks was all-consuming. Spreadsheets for scheduling and manual invoicing were a time drain and just gave too much room for error. In 2015 I had the opportunity to sell my company and purchase Better Walker. Since then I have brought my 13 years of experience in running a busy pet sitting and dog walking company to the further development of the system.
